Public Practice Entrance and Continuance Standard
The Public Practice Entrance and Continuance Standard (PPECS) provides an overview of minimum standards required in order to approve, authorize and govern the activities of its members engaged in the practice of public accounting. The purpose of this standard is to:
- protect the interest of the public;
- protect the integrity and repute of the profession;
- promote and advance the competence of the members of the Association; and
- regulate the performance and conduct of persons, partnerships and professional corporations authorized to practice public accounting by the Association.
