Transfer Credits
The CGA Association evaluates post-secondary courses for credit in the CGA program. The Transfer Credit Schedule is prepared for information and guidance only. As course numbers and content change depending on the year of study, the schedule is subject to change without notice.
Transfer credits may be granted to students who have completed courses at other post-secondary educational institutions provided the course content and standards are acceptable to the Association.
Students who seek transfer credits must submit official transcripts, a resume and applicable fees when applying for an Application for Advanced Standing.
Those who have completed courses outside of Canada must also provide English course descriptions or a program syllabus.
Academic transfer credits are not granted on the basis of work experience. Students may be offered a challenge exam when course content or standards are not judged to be adequate.
