Students eligible for educational funding from sponsor agencies should carefully consider the following information as they plan their CGA enrollment.

CGA Manitoba offers students two options for accepting payments from sponsoring agencies:

1) A student may submit full payment with the online CGA Application for Enrollment. Once the registration has been processed, the student can forward the tuition receipt to his/her sponsor for reimbursement.

2) Alternatively, a student may request a letter from the sponsoring organization addressed to CGA Manitoba confirming their intention to fund the student’s CGA tuition fees. Upon receiving the confirmation letter from the sponsor and submitting an online CGA Application for Enrollment, CGA Manitoba will send a confirmation of acceptance letter with an attached invoice to the sponsor. The application will be processed upon receipt of payment from the sponsor. Students concerned about being processed and receiving their course materials in a timelier manner, may make a personal deposit of $200 per course to initiate application processing and materials release for the initial session. Upon receiving the balance of fees owing, CGA will release the balance of the course materials.

If you are eligible for educational funding and cannot or do not wish to make an immediate full payment or deposit, you are encouraged to register early to provide time for your sponsor to consider your application, prepare the confirmation letter, and process payment. This will better ensure that your materials are received in time for you to properly prepare for the start of the course. GST will be payable regardless as to whether the funding organization is GST exempt or taxable.

Examples of the types of sponsors that CGA will invoice are clients of the Workers Compensation Board, Band Counsels, Assurance Companies, etc.

Please note that employers who provide financial support for staff enrolled in the CGA program cannot be invoiced.
