Program Requirements

We`re proud to offer Canada`s most open, flexible accounting program, a designation that produces world-class business professionals. The CGA Program of Professional Studies is demanding; requiring you to complete challenging academic studies, apply theory to sample real-world business cases, and accumulate practical experience consistent with your chosen career path.
When first considering application to the CGA Program, you may wish to consult with a student advisor for general program information, career advice, or guidance on transfer credit.

  1. 21 Academic Courses/Exams 
  2. University Degree (exit requirement)
  3. Professional Experience

Where Do I Start in the CGA Program?

An assessment of your previous education through our Application for Advanced Standing determines your starting place in the CGA program. If you have completed post-secondary education, you may be eligible for transfer credits and advanced standing.
