About CGA Manitoba
Incorporated in 1973, the Certified General Accountants Association of Manitoba (CGA Manitoba) is a self-regulating, professional association of over 3600 students and Certified General Accountants – CGAs.
CGA Manitoba delivers CGA Canada’s world renowned program of professional studies and confers the professional designation, CGA, on those attaining the Association’s rigorous certification standards. To achieve the CGA designation, students must develop and demonstrate leading edge technical, professional, and ethical competencies through the completion of CGA’s degree, education, and experiential requirements.
In the public interest, the Association rigorously enforces its members’ adherence to the CGA Code of Ethical Principles and Rules of Conduct, Independence Standard, Public Practice Entrance and Continuance Standards, and mandatory continuing professional development requirement.
CGA Manitoba is the province’s largest and fastest growing association of professional accountants. It is a member of the national CGA affiliation that includes CGA Canada and affiliates from all the Canadian provinces and territories.
